Do you offer taster classes?
​Yes, all new students can try out their first class free.
Do I need to register my child for Kids classes?
​Yes, although classes are PAYG I do require each new student to fill in a registration form. For your first class please arrive 5 minutes prior to class start time to fill this in
Is there parking for the Kids classes?
Yes, there is side of the road parking available just outside the hall or opposite outside St.Marys Church. Please DO NOT park in Allinson Court next to the hall. Alternativly, parking is availble at the Co-op a 5 minite walk away.
What does my child need to bring to a class?
Please ensure that your child has a small bottle of water and a small towel. Please make sure they have been to the toilet before class as toilet breaks are not permitted when the class is in process. Toilets are available on the premises.
What does my child need to wear?
KMDAF has a uniform and it is expected that every child has it. New starters will be given one term to purchase unifrom. UNIFORM MUST BE WORN TO CLASS IF YOUR CHILD HAS IT. If you do not have a uniform ensure your child is wearing loose comfortable clothing, i.e., tracksuit bottoms and t-shirt. Flat trainers must be worn for Street dance, and bare foot, ballet shoes or foot thongs for Contemporary.
Are your dance classes registered with a governing body?
All of our classes are run according to IDTA guidelines excluding Contemporary which is run under the ID Dance governing body.
Are your teachers qualified?
Yes. All of our teachers are DBS checked. Miss Kelly holds many dance and fitness qualifications and is fully insured with Giles Insurance.
